The flourishing city of North Charleston sits close to the Atlantic coast of South Carolina and is now the third largest in the state, with a population of just over 100,000 residents. It has come a long way since evolving in 1914 and still further following it being given city status, back in 1972. Developing into one of the prime locations of SC, it has undoubtedly been boosted by the presence of the giant Boeing Aircraft Center, which moved in to the area in 2009, with its Dreamliner Assembly Complex.

Two tidal rivers, namely the Ashley and Cooper, form its southeastern and southwestern borders, allowing the city a wonderful mix of industry and leisure.
